The MkII has an explosion-proof housing and an intrinsically safe sensor connection. The MkII is intended to be used primarily in Zone 1 applications and its remote mounting kit can also be used in Zone 0 applications. For applications of Zone 0, the MkIII is intended to be used with an appropriate IS barrier.
Making them ideal for new installations and renovation facilities, these low-power gas detectors all have a 4/20 mA loop powered connection. While the fault diagnosis software and a programmable calibration period greatly simplify maintenance procedures, users can configure the detector using an easy-to-read LCD display and an intuitive interface.
