Sensepoint XCD

The Surecell™ electrochemical sensors make the Sensepoint XCD an internationally renowned transmitter for hazards related to flammable gases (catalytic or infrared), toxic gases and oxygen in the atmosphere for both indoors and outdoors.

The Sensepoint XCD can detect ambient gases within a radius of 30 meters (100 feet). The detector connects directly to the transmitter and is automatically configured with it. Its LCD screen and magnetic switches mean that the device never needs to be opened and which reduces regular maintenance.

The backlit LCD screen of the Sensepoint XCD tells you if the detector is operating normally. The green light indicates that the Sensepoint XCD operates normally. The Sensepoint XCD is easy to use with its removable plug-in display module to allow access to the terminal block. It also has an integrated mounting bracket and 2 M20 or ¾” NPT leads/cable entries.

The Sensepoint XCD is available in several versions for various gases and offers IP66 protection. In addition to the 4/20 mA outputs in absorbed or selectable current and MODBUS for diagnostics and remote configuration, the Sensepoint XCD is versatile and reliable for many applications.

Its infrared sensors and filaments are resistant to poisons for a long-service life. Recognized internationally, the Sensepoint XCD complies with UL, INMETRO, ATEX, IECEx, CSA, KTL, PA, GB and CCCF standards.
